Varieties of Naturalism in Contemporary Philosophy
The content of this special issue connects to the research project “Naturalism as Universal Philosophical Program”, funded by the Slovak Research and Development Agency. The project focuses on philosophical study of naturalism, which in recent decades has become the dominant approach to philosophy and the dominant view within most of philosophical disciplines (epistemology, ethics, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of mind, social and political philosophy, philosophy of science). This has several serious consequences. Contributions aim at general delineation of the core of naturalism, systematic differentiation of its main types, and at identification and evaluation of the boundaries of naturalisation in a wide range of philosophical topics.
