The publication focuses on the influence of social and cultural factors of innovation activities. It describes new forms of innovation, such as social innovation understood as changes in social practices, and it also considers the “cultural thesis”, according to which innovation behavior is primarily determined by culture as a set of specific values and practices. It also reflects the role of innovation in shaping the stability and dynamism of society. An important part of the thesis is an analysis of the different contexts of innovation transfer, the key dimension of which is also cultural transfer.
